Pineapple is the global symbol of hospitality and there is no better time to celebrate the wonders of travel than this summer. Following months of day dreaming about travel, this year from the 20th till the 27th June 2020 we joined our fellow hoteliers in the Preferred Hotels & Resorts family to celebrate the return of hospitality.

Excelsior Corporate Social Responsibility

The Grand Hotel Excelsior Malta’s management and team members promote and practice a Corporate Social Responsibility programme set up by the Sports and Social Committee of the hotel. The Hotel feels very strongly about helping those in need and participates in activities positively impacting the community and environment.

On the 5th of September 2016, a number of our team members visited a local shelter – Association for Abandoned Animals. Our Human Resources department set up a collection point next to the staff canteen entrance for team members to drop off their generous donations. We collected a total of €110 and purchased a vet voucher which will help to cover some of the medical expenses of the shelter. Furthermore our kind hearted team members donated several food items and treats.
